We'll open the floor for anyone who would like to share a story, a memory, or a word about Phyllis. All are welcome.
The informal celebration winds to a close. Thank you for being here to honor her.
Her Story
As many of you know, mom was an only child with a very vivid imagination! As a child growing up on the farm she had many friends. These friends included all sorts of farm animals, chickens she named and of course a few imaginary friends.
One of her most famous friends was a hobo named Bench Poker who roamed the countryside and traveled by hopping trains in the open boxcars.
